Where did it all begin? As a small child, I remember asking for a camera for Christmas every year. I always either wanted to be taking the picture, or have my picture taken (Not sure why, because I'd much rather stay begin the camera these days). When I graduated high school in 2006, I immediately knew what I wanted to go to college for - PHOTOGRAPHY. I graduated two years later with an Associates of Arts in Digital Photography. During this time, my friends and family were so supportive and allowed me to photograph for college assignments and to begin building a portfolio. When I graduated, I was running my photography business part time and working in mental health full time. I continued this for several years. During those years, I attended a community college for Human Services/Psychology, which has tremendously assisted me with my photography in the past several months. I'll get into that a little later. Once I got married in 2015, life changed a lot for me, and I did not have as much time to run a business for a while. I ended up getting pregnant, and was hit my a drunk driver in September 2016 and miscarried our twins, which led me to do my project on the home page. I believe that going to school for Human Services/Psychology, has truly helped me with not only coping for myself, but putting this project together, trying to help these ladies in the same situations, and using my photography to assist as well in my "REMEMBRANCE SESSIONS". I have several goals/dreams for my business to expand in the near future. I can not wait to see what the future holds!
